Rising Tide Fiber Company is a one woman run indie yarn company that hand dyes yarn in small dye lots to create highly saturated semisolid, tonal, speckled and varigated colorways.
The dyer, Melissa, finds inspiration in the everyday ordinary, which for her is in the Twin Beach area of Maryland (North Beach/Chesapeake Beach). Her town still has that small town charm expected along the coastline of the Chesapeake Bay. When she's not dyeing yarn or teaching (her full time gig), you can usually find her knitting, reading, watching knitting related podcast, or hanging out with her 3 Boston Terriers.
Talbot Fingering is made up of 80% Superwash Merino along with 20% Nylon. It has 400 yards per 100 gram hank, and knits up at 6.75 - 8 stitches per inch on size US 1-3 knitting needles.
