Isager "Gunta" Cowl Yarn Kit

The Gunta Cowl is named after the German Weaver, Gunta Stölzl, who, with her beautiful graphic weavings, was one of the influential artists at The Bauhaus school in the 1920s.  Helga Isager is very interested in the female weavers of Bauhaus, and this design is one of a new collection based on their works.  Our shop's Gunta Cowl is worked in one strand of Isager Bouclé with a weaving pattern in Rowan's Alpaca Soft DK.

Each kit contains 2 skeins of Isager Boucle (100% Alpaca), along with 5 10 gram balls of Rowan's Alpaca Soft (70% Virgin Wool, 30% Alpaca)in the following colors:  220 Autumn Gold, 209 Enchanted (Lilac), 218 Brick, 212 Marine Blue, and 230 Dark Burgandy.
