Rockin' Around the Stocking- Design and Knit Your Own Colorwork Stocking
It's never too early to get a jump on your holiday knitting! Get ready to deck the halls and rock around your mantle by knitting up a unique, colorwork stocking.
In this intermediate, 3 session "Doodle" workshop, we'll be using the mix-and-match micro charts from the Doodle Series by Pacific Knit Co. This Holiday Doodle Stocking is the perfect introduction to "Doodle" knitting and stranded colorwork.
We'll cover stranded knitting, tips and techniques as well as shaping the heel and toe of your very own big sock.

| Skill Details: | This is a great class for the student that has mastered the basics of casting on, knitting and purling, increasing and decreasing, and knitting in the round. In order to experience all the skills taught in this class, students will be assigned 'homework' that must be completed prior to each class. | Requirements: | -Holiday Doodle Stocking Pattern by Pacific Knit Co. -At least 3 colors of yarn in the same weight - our shop sample was knit with 3 colors of LangYanrs Donegal Tweed, which is Aran weight. The pattern calls for DK weight yarn, which will make for a slightly smaller stocking. -Needles appropriate for yarn weight. |
