Not Your Granny's Granny Square! (January 2025)
Not Your Granny's Granny Square is a class designed for the beginner and advanced beginner crocheter. Using "A Modern Guide to Granny Squares" as a resource, students will make up to three different granny square patterns: single color, multi-color, and a square with a motif.
Students (ages 18+) will learn crochet hook types and sizing, how to measure gauge, multiple beginning techniques, how to read a crochet chart and written pattern, and if time allows, how to join colors, slip stitch and double crochet stitch, and finishing techniques.
Dates: Saturdays, January 18 and 25, from 10-11:30AM

Skill Details: | Students must know how to do basic crochet stitches - including a magic loop, the chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet stitches. This is not a Learn to Crochet class. |
Requirements: | Crochet hooks - 3.5 and 4.0mm Scissors 4 colors of Sirdar Stories yarn Book: "Modern Guide to Granny Squares" Students are required to purchase the book and yarn from Knits and Pieces |
