Sweater Knitting: The Weekender Sweater
What better way to begin the new year? Andrea Mowry's "Weekender Sweater" is a great sweater to knit and wear. It makes for a great beginner sweater if you've never knit one before. Even if you've taken a beginner sweater class, you can expect to expand your knowledge, focusing on the following areas:
-Gauge and Sizing
-Sizing Customization for the body and sleeves
-Learning the Tubular Cast-on
-Learning to do Short Rows
-Knitting Inside Out
-Working with Slipped Stitches
This class will take you through the pattern step by step, and in 4 sessions, you will have a new sweater in your wardrobe! (If you've kept up with your homework.... ;)
Note: This class is intended for participants ages 18 and up.

| Materials Included: | Participants will receive both a hard copy of the pattern and one downloaded into their Ravelry account |
| Requirements: | Students must be comfortable with basic casting on, and making knit and purl stitches. There will be 'homework' assigned for classes 2-4. In order to complete the sweater within the class time frame, students need to complete their assignments prior to each consecutive class. |
