Short Rows are Easy!

The "Flowery" shawl, designed by Susanne Ederleh, is a beautiful accessory guaranteed to turn heads. It is made up of two colours that harmonize perfectly: Garden Party and Shooting Star.  The pattern repeats in waves, giving the shawl an interesting texture and shape.

The pattern of the shawl is unique and special - it's a floral composition created through the use of short rows.  Knit in garter stitch with an i-cord bind off, each section is actually quite small, making it easy to learn.

Students will learn the basic method of performing short rows in the first class, working on the first motif.  In the second class, students will learn to create the background portion.  Finally, using a sample swatch, students will learn the icord bind off.
