Beginner Lace

A First Lace Shawl - The basis of lace knitting is making holes on purpose and strategically placing decreases to form the shape of your knitting.  This two-session class will get you started with good habits to keep your edges loose, and will teach you to read a chart. After the class, you'll be well on your way to repeat what you've learned (over and over) to complete the bands of this charming shawl.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Must be comfortable knitting, purling, and basic increases and decreases
Materials Included: Ambah O'Brien's Sherbet Fizz Pattern
Requirements: Materials: 350 yards of fingering yarn, 32" US5 circular needle, lots of stitch markers!
