Second Saturday Skills: The Cast On, Bind Off Series - Part 4

We can all cast on and bind off but there are many, many ways to get stitches onto and off of our needles!  Sometimes you'd rather have an edge that is stretchier or more decorative or that you can take off again later...  We're offering a series of stand-alone workshops to explore 4 different ways to cast on and 4 different ways to bind off on Second Saturdays throughout the fall.  Take one, or take several!
December 9, 10-11:30am  -  Crochet cast on (can be used as a provisional cast on, too) and the Sewn bind off (a favorite of Elizabeth Zimmerman)

Requirements: Materials required: about 15 yards of DK yarn, US3 needles (your choice to use a single 32" circular with magic loop method, two 24" US circular needles or a set of US3 dpn's), a stitch marker and a tapestry needle to weave in ends. Students should download Ambah O'Brien's free pattern: Easy Knitted Bangle (We can help you put it in your Ravelry library)
