Baby Brioche - Learn the Brioche technique



Learn the 'next step' in brioche knitting - techniques for brioche increasing and decreasing that create beautiful pattern movement.  The "Flamingo Baby Cardigan", designed by Lilia Vanini, uses brioche on the front panels of this baby cardigan, offering a great opportunity for learning this method in small segments.  This four session class will cover: two-color brioche with increasing and decreasing; chart reading, button band and button hole construction, and seaming.


Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: All students should be comfortable with knitting, purling, increasing and decreasing. Basic brioche skills - brp-ing and brk-ing are recommended.
Materials Included: The pattern will be downloaded into each student's Ravelry account.
Requirements: -2 skeins of fingering weight yarn that have high contrast value -32? US4 Circular Needle (or size to achieve gauge) -? inch buttons (6) -2 colors of worsted weight scrap yarn for practicing brioche -Stitch markers and darning needle
